Ihre neue Herausforderung
- Implement and monitor export control guidelines within the region
- Ensure alignment of guideline with national and international export control regulations (e.g., EU Dual-Use Regulation, U.S. EAR) and corporate guidelines
- Stay informed about export control legislation and applicable laws
- Conduct risk assessments and spot checks related to export control
- Support the classification of goods, software and technology (e.g., ECCN, HS codes)
- Coordinate and manage export license applications
- Maintain records of licenses and ensure proper usage and expiration tracking
- Provide training to employees on export control topics
- Raise awareness about export control risks and responsibilities across departments
- Review and approve transactions, including customer/end-use/end-user screening
- Use tools or databases to check for embargoes, sanctions, and restricted parties
- Act as the point of contact for export control matters within the region
- Liaise with global export control team, legal departments, and external authorities
- Report findings to global export control and, if necessary, to authorities
- Ensure proper documentation of export control decisions and transactions
- Maintain audit trails for compliance verification
Ihre Kompetenzen
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Legal, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or comparable education in own field of expertise
- Working knowledge within “Export Control”, “Compliance”, “Legal”, “Project Business”, “Quality Management”, “Supply Chain” or “Internal Audit” related Department or Organization
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to clearly formulate conclusions based on laws and evidence
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Fluent in German and English
